    Answer to the puzzle:
    Use 1 sec guy and 3 sec guy send them 1st.
    send back 1sec guy
    Use 1 sec guy and 6 sec girl send them 2nd.
    send back 3sec guy
    Use 8 sec guy and 12 sec guy send them 3rd.
    send back 1sec guy
    Use 1 sec guy and 3 sec guy send them last.
